The European leader in agile and digital transformation strengthens its position in Belgium

Brussels, 22 March 2021 – Wemanity, the European leader in agile and digital transformation, today announced the acquisition of its counterpart DigitalScaler. With this acquisition, Wemanity strengthens its leading position in the Belux market, especially in Flanders where DigitalScaler is already established. “To emerge victorious from the corona crisis, companies will have to change the way they work and accelerate their agile and digital transformation. The acquisition of DigitalScaler allows us to better support them in evolving their skills at all levels of the company. In order to grow even faster, we want to recruit 50 employees in Belux this year”, says Jean-Christophe Conticello, CEO and founder of Wemanity. Sonja Noben, Founder and CEO of DigitalScaler, agrees: “Our start-up has experienced very strong growth in recent years. To meet the high demand for our services, we were looking for a complementary partner with the same values and vision. We found that partner in Wemanity.”

In these times of global pandemic, the need for companies to anticipate a rapidly changing world is more evident than ever. To do so, they must accelerate their transformation projects by adapting not only their management, but also, for example, their culture, practices and tools to remain economically relevant. Undertaking an agile and digital transformation in a co-creative way with the customer offers companies a sustainable solution to stay ahead of the competition.

To help both SMEs and large companies, Wemanity has acquired DigitalScaler. With its experience, this start-up accompanies its clients in all stages of their agile and digital transformation: organisational, cultural and technological. In concrete terms, this means supporting organisations from the strategic thinking exercise to the design and implementation of the supporting processes. In addition to changing processes, clients also want to shift the mindset of their employees. Wemanity and DigitalScaler create value for these companies by jointly building and sharing knowledge and improving mutual partnerships. This is done, among other things, by offering relevant training. In this way, these companies become experts in their field and remain competitive in their sector.

This multidisciplinary approach has already proved its worth: today, the two organisations already work together with SMEs and large international companies in the banking and insurance, energy, media, telecommunications and pharmaceutical sectors.

A win-win situation

Wemanity has been active in Belgium since 2016 and has already built up a strong market position, particularly in French-speaking Belgium. With the acquisition of DigitalScaler, which in turn has a particularly strong position in Dutch-speaking Belgium, Wemanity becomes the market leader in agile and digital transformation throughout Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, and by extension throughout Europe.

“We are very pleased to welcome the talents of DigitalScaler to our team. We share the same values, the same desire to undertake and above all the same conviction: innovation can only be collective”, says Jean-Christophe Conticello, CEO and founder of Wemanity. “DigitalScaler has developed an approach in line with our clients’ challenges, enabling us to support all stages of their agile and digital transformation. In this way, we can provide our Belgian and Luxembourg clients with better support in these times of rapid change, and we are now able to grow even faster in Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.”

Today, Wemanity and DigitalScaler have a combined total of 150 talents in Belux. This year, no less than 50 people are expected to join the team.

“For our current and future customers, this merger offers only advantages. Our network of experts that they can call on is growing. In this way, we can support them even better in their agile and digital transformation processes. From the strategic phase to implementation at all levels of the company”, concludes Sonja Noben, founder and CEO of DigitalScaler and new co-CEO of Wemanity Belux.
